Cats can’t taste sweets
Sweetness in food is a sign of rich carbohydrates, and so it is important for omnivores (like humans) to taste sweet things. Cats, however, are less discerning, and carnivorous kitties lack part of the DNA that would allow them to taste sweets. They enjoy their cat food without any added sugar.
Rocks can float
In a volcanic eruption, the fast expulsion of gas causes bubbles in the liquid magma flow. This can often cool very quickly, leaving the tiny bubbles trapped inside the stone. This is why pumice stone, unlike normal rocks, can float.

The sun loses up to a billion kilograms every second because of the solar wind that blasts out of its surface.
